Gleeds has confirmed that it is supporting Swiss-American SMR developer and energy infrastructure firm Deep Atomic with a number of submissions for large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) data centre and energy infrastructure schemes in the United States (U.S.), including public sector projects associated with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
Acting as part of a wider consortium established by Deep Atomic, Gleeds is assisting with early-stage project control and delivery advisory input to strengthen the credibility and deliverability of submissions. Its role involves providing high-level cost planning, benchmarking and cost risk advice, early delivery planning and critical path thinking, risk management, and feasibility and investment readiness guidance to support decision making and execution planning.
This is a really exciting time for both the energy and data centre sectors worldwide. Reflecting the pre-development nature of the DOE submission process, our involvement has so far been focused on providing early-stage advisory input and Gleeds is pleased to be supporting the furtherance of cutting-edge, mission-critical infrastructure at the intersection of these two key industries.
The consultancy’s expertise provides a level of delivery certainty and project control discipline that will give Deep Atomic’s submissions greater credibility in an extremely fast moving nuclear AI market.
Nuclear-AI project execution requires more than ideas - it requires credible delivery partners, realistic execution pathways, and demonstrated demand. The partnerships that we´ve established reflect a disciplined approach to consortium building, with Gleeds in particular delivering strong project control capability and commercial insight to support our submissions.
Gleeds is currently supporting Deep Atomic and its consortium partners with several high-profile programme submissions that set out to support advanced computer and energy infrastructure development across the U.S.
