Your journey

Our application process – transparent and straightforward

We remove as many barriers to entry into Gleeds as possible. We judge everyone fairly and equitably, making sure we speak to a diverse range of candidates before making a placement.

1. Find your perfect role on our vacancy page and apply

We have fantastic opportunities available at all levels, across the world, from graduate to senior director. Create your profile, apply for a role and one of our Talent Acquisition Partners will be in touch.

2. Talk with a Talent Acquisition Partner

During this conversation you’ll find out more about the role and discuss whether you’d be a good fit. All of our team will focus on getting the right people for the right role.

3. Interview stages

You’ll speak to people in the team in which you are interested to see if this job is right for you. During this stage we will look at your technical level, competency and the knowledge you have in your field.

4. Welcome to Gleeds!

Following a successful interview process, you’ll be onboarded, introduced to the wider team and your journey at Gleeds will begin!

Joining us from another industry

We know that people change their minds on the career they want to pursue. The path you chose in your earlier years might not be the same as the path you want now, and we support that.

We’d still be happy to discuss a career in the built environment even if you are from a different sector or background. Some of our most crucial positions at Gleeds are held by people who didn’t have built environment experience and who, otherwise, might never have explored an opportunity in at Gleeds!

Joining us from the armed forces

We’re a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and a Defence ERS gold award holder, meaning we’re a forces-friendly recruiter. We know that the skills learned and experiences you gain from the services are very transferable to the world of business, and we make it our mission to give those who have served their country a fair chance in our industry.

We have many people working at Gleeds who have previously served in the military and have set up a Armed Forces Ally Group - an internal community where service leavers can connect with each other across Gleeds, creating a network that supports our ex-forces personnel transitioning into civilian life.

Joining our corporate services teams

As a business of over 2,800 people worldwide, we’re more than just Project Managers or Quantity Surveyors. We have Marketing, Finance, Bid, Digital and other teams that ensure our steady growth is supported. These teams make Gleeds what it is today, and we are always looking for great people to join us and work on great projects around the world.
