Gleeds established a presence in Peru in 2020, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Initially forming part of the UK Delivery Team (UKDT), alongside Mace and Arup, we have been helping to rebuild critical and social infrastructure across the country following the devastating impacts of the El Niño hurricane in 2017.

Our highly skilled people work in a unique way – not only advising on the $3bn reconstruction programme but facilitating the transfer of knowledge and skills to local Peruvian professionals. By working alongside the regional government departments, we’re enabling long-term sustainability and rigour in the delivery of future major programmes in Peru.

Working across the wider coastal regions and provinces of Tumbes, Cajamarca, Huancavelica, Piura, Ancash, Lambayeque, La Libertad and Lima, our diverse workforce represents varied backgrounds, all of whom are bilingual, bringing a wealth of international experience.  From the very beginning, the team’s focus has always been a digital-first mindset, adopting BIM and a digital Project Management Office. Our work has extended into the Bi-Centennial schools programme, promoting international standards and making a difference in Peru for years to come.

Lima

As the capital of Peru, Gleeds office in Lima, is perfectly located to support our clients in the delivery of vital infrastructure and floods defences. We’re closely involved with the local communities in which we work, and combine our global knowledge with local know-how to provide the best possible solution to our clients.
