Gleeds has been named as a supplier on the £3.5 billion Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) framework by Government Commercial Agency (GCA - formerly Crown Commercial Service).

Replacing the previous RM6165 agreement, the four-year framework will run until February 2030 and will provide central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies with access to technical advisory services for the full lifecycle of construction projects. Gleeds was successful with each of its three bids for core services, winning places on multi-disciplinary Lot 1 - General Infrastructure & Built Environment, Lot 3 - Project Management and Lot 4 - Commercial Management.

CPS2 represents a strategic investment in UK construction capabilities, so our appointment positions us at the heart of national priorities. Competition for places was predictably strong, but Gleeds has a long track record of success with GCA which allowed us to draw on and apply the learning and experience we’ve gleaned over the past 12 years.

Simon Williams, UK Operations Director, Gleeds

As a Gold Standard public sector agreement, CPS2 requires consultants and suppliers to focus on outcomes - creating innovative specifications and solutions that focus on end user requirements. Potential suppliers were therefore assessed on both quality and cost, with a focus on delivery capability, technology and innovation, sector-specific excellence, and social value.

Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connecting public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation.
