Building surveying

Gleeds’ independent and integrated approach to building surveying provides best value solutions for our clients. Working across the property lifecycle, our data-driven analysis ensures they make the most efficient use of their land and property.

We offer a full range of building surveying services tailored to the client’s project scope and requirements.

Our global network of chartered building surveyors brings technical expertise, value and personality to all stages of the property lifecycle.

We help clients make efficient use of their property portfolios, ensuring risk is managed, and property use is maximised. We recognise governance in the form of latest legislation and RICS guidance to guarantee accuracy and industry best practice in all of our services. Professional standards and quality are at the core of our everyday service offering.

Collecting the relevant measurement data to the right level of detail, we present it to the client in their chosen format, designing bespoke dashboard reports if required.

The accuracy and consistency of the information we generate supports the minimisation of risks, and compliance with regulations.

On completion of the project, we’ll provide a 10-year asset management plan, which covers all of the construction items completed within the scheme. This will include a projection of planned maintenance costs to support annual financial planning, aligned to a bespoke lifecycle model which reflects the actual use of the building. The asset information is structured based on the RICS Guidance for Best Practice.
