The UK Delivery Team (UKDT), made up of Gleeds, Mace and Arup provides technical assistance to the Peruvian Government, as part of a government-to government (G2G) partnership to help rebuild critical infrastructure in Peru.
The latest UKDT Yearbook is now available and provides an update on progress over the past four years which includes:
- 69 schools opened
- Five healthcare centres and four hospitals opened
- Two river gullies completed with a further 14 flood protection measures in construction
- Over five million people benefitting from the facilities in use.
The yearbook also outlines the contribution of the UKDT across all programme areas, challenges and lessons learned.
Thanks to the UK Delivery Team, millions of Peruvians now have access to safer schools, modern hospitals, and the country’s first large-scale flood defences, all built to international standards.
