Gleeds has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing for the fourth consecutive year, ranking 14 among the top 50 businesses in the Super Large category and climbing 11 places since 2025.
To compile the prestigious list, culture experts from Great Place To Work® analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experiences of wellbeing at work through fundamental facets of employee wellbeing, including work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
This is the fourth time Gleeds has featured in the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list and we’re thrilled to have climbed over ten places this year. This progress reflects Gleeds’ ongoing commitment to creating an environment where employee wellbeing is genuinely prioritised and where people feel valued, supported and able to thrive. Feedback from colleagues at all levels highlights a culture built on listening, openness and mutual support. We are particularly proud of the accessibility of our senior leadership team, whose active engagement helps ensure that wellbeing remains at the heart of our organisation.
This culture is also reflected in our survey scores, with 81% of people agreeing that they are supported by helpful measures to promote health, and 80% agreeing that people are encouraged to balance their work like and personal life.
"Creating a culture of wellbeing requires deliberate leadership, strong values and consistent action that puts people first... To be recognised on this list is a clear signal that wellbeing is not treated as a peripheral initiative, but as a fundamental part of organisational culture. Congratulations to Gleeds on this achievement and for setting a leading example for workplaces across the UK,” Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK
