Designed for efficiency and built with safety and sustainability in mind, a new cross-dock centre will support the expansion of Allegro’s logistics network. REINO IO Piotrków Allegro BTS logistics centre is a build-to-suit project developed by REINO IO Logistics for Allegro, Poland’s leading e-commerce platform. This investment marks the first project delivered within the REINO IO Piotrków logistics park, managed by REINO IO Logistics.
The project represents another milestone in the growth of Polish Logistics LLP, a nationwide logistics platform created by Grosvenor DPI, REINO Capital and IO Asset Management.
The new cross-dock facility, with a total area of nearly 27,000 m², will be one of the most advanced logistics buildings in the country. Designed to support high-volume e-commerce operations, the centre prioritises operational efficiency, users’ safety and sustainability. The facility will feature advanced automated sorting systems, 144 loading docks, a column-free
structure with a clear height of 12 metres, as well as a photovoltaic installation and a hybrid heating system.
Beyond its technical specifications, the project reflects a broader approach to sustainable logistics development. Energy-efficient systems, on-site renewable energy generation and environmentally responsible design choices are intended to reduce the building’s long-term environmental footprint while ensuring stable operating conditions for users. The building is targeting a BREEAM certification at the level of at least Excellent. Achieving a high BREEAM rating confirms the project’s alignment with international sustainability standards increasingly expected by global e-commerce operators.
Gleeds Polska has been appointed to provide project management, cost management and quality/construction supervision services. The new facility will further strengthen Allegro’s logistics infrastructure, support the continued growth of e-commerce operations, and contribute to job creation in the local market. Its strategic location near the S8, A1 and S12 routes reinforces Piotrków Trybunalski’s position as one of Poland’s most important logistics hubs.
