Paweł Badura is the Associate Director and Head of Gleeds' Łódź office in Poland, overseeing key sectors such as industrial, logistics and offices. In his role, Paweł's responsibilities include supporting the bidding team, negotiating with clients and contractors, reporting, forecasting, problem-solving, and decision-making.
A typical day for Paweł starts with a cup of coffee, followed by client meetings, site visits, team supervision, briefings, and ensuring the best quality of services provided. Paweł also offers advisory support to his team, making sure they meet the high standards set by Gleeds. New people, challenges and projects keep Paweł motivated. He finds great satisfaction in creating new buildings that will stand the test of time.
Paweł has always found industrial projects to be the most challenging and fulfilling. He believes that managing these projects requires a deep understanding of the requirements needed to run industrial technology. Living and working in Poland, offers him the opportunity to be part of ambitious projects that shape the region.
Observing how Poland has been changing has always been impressive.
His journey to Gleeds was inspired by his early experiences working with Gleeds-managed construction projects. He admired the professionalism and attitude of Gleeds' project managers, which became a model for him to follow.
After a decade of varying professional paths, Paweł joined Gleeds and has been a valuable team member ever since. He advises new team members to learn continuously, listen to people's expectations, and maintain an open mind while being firm and confident in their opinions. Outside of work, he enjoys nature, travelling and eating good food. If he hadn’t pursued his current line of work, he imagines he might be involved in gardening, carpentry, exploring continents or sailing.
