Gleeds has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development for the second year running.

The UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List recognises companies making employee development a key part of company culture.  Only those businesses that achieve the highest scores after evaluation by Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, receive Best Workplaces status. Gleeds is one of just 50 organisations to be included in the Super Large category, placing at number 34 in this year’s list.

To determine the 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Development, Great Place To Work analysed confidential survey feedback shared by 240,000 employees working across the United Kingdom. Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organisation creates a ‘Great Place to Work’ For All.

This year, Gleeds scored 75% on the people development index overall. Employees agreed that management appreciates good work and extra effort, as well as feeling that everyone has an equal chance to achieve special recognition from the business. They also felt that training and opportunities for continued professional development were readily available.
