Galeria Libero is a shopping centre with the useable area of approximately 45,000m2 located in the centre of Katowice, designed to be a public space in friendly place. Gleeds Poland supported the realization of this project by delivering building surveying services. Gleeds has also supervised reconstruction of the read junction and works related to the utilities network.
This mall consists of supermarket, 150 shops and commercial units and a variety of amenities as the access to medical centre, multiplex, cafeterias, restaurants, fitness club, squash or billiard. Implemented technical solutions or fitted architectural elements improve the effectiveness of the building and ensure the comfort of the users.
Thanks to above solutions Galeria Libero is BREEAM certified. There are two separate entrances. The road communication system at the intersection of Kosciuszko and Kolejowa streets and the neighbourhood of public transport stops at the entrances to the facility minimizes the occurrence of traffic jams and make getting to the Galeria Libero easier.
