As a vital member of the People Development Team, Ustaritz oversees learning and development initiatives for Gleeds employees in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, empowering individuals to enhance their skills, progress in their careers, and make a positive impact on both the company and their professional growth.

Her role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees within an organization. She is responsible for identifying training needs, creating learning materials, delivering training sessions, and measuring the effectiveness of the programmes. Her goal is to support the professional growth and development of employees, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the organization.

In her role, no day is typical. Each day unfolds with a varied mix of responsibilities, from delivering training sessions such as the Welcome Programme and managerial training to handling ad-hoc sessions tailored to the needs of our diverse workforce. Engaging with employees from different backgrounds is an enriching experience that adds a unique perspective to her workdays. Her responsibilities extend to reporting, responding to queries, and much more, making every day a new and exciting challenge.

What motivates Ustaritz is:

Beyond work, Ustaritz finds joy in exploring the world through travel, learning about diverse cultures, traditions, and savouring local cuisines. As for alternate career dreams, living on the beach and becoming a professional golf player feature prominently in her aspirations. But she is aware that she will never be a professional golf player, but maybe, she can live near the beach someday.
