Tatiana is a Senior Project Controller and serves as Digital Leader for Peru's first Special Public Investment Programme - Bicentenary Schools. This ambitious programme aims to build 75 schools for thousands of children across the country, under a Government-to-Government agreement between the UK and Peru.
Tatiana's days are always varied. She often meets with the current client and internal teams to understand and address their digital needs. She liaises with various digital service providers to ensure platforms are operational and accessible to all users. Tatiana also works alongside Gleeds’ digital team, exchanging ideas and best practice.
I am driven by the opportunity to work on projects that enhance people's quality of life. I enjoy developing and implementing innovations that contribute to the digital transformation of the construction industry in Perú and Latin America.
With 13 years of experience as a systems engineer in the oil and gas sector in Latin America, Tatiana sought a change to the infrastructure construction industry to expand her knowledge in project management.
I appreciate Gleeds' flexibility and multicultural environment, which offers opportunities to work in different regions and countries, learning new languages and cultures.
She values the company's encouragement of personal responsibility and creative thinking, the strong sense of family and teamwork and that motivates employees to improve their professional skills.
Tatiana resonates with Gleeds' recognition that people are an organisation's most important asset. She values the company's emphasis on respect and inclusion among colleagues, despite cultural differences.
Getting out of your comfort zone is the best opportunity you can give yourself, because the only thing that is permanent is change.
Tatiana's proudest achievements include obtaining her Project Management Professional certification, leading the digital management of a significant educational programme with substantial social value for Perú, and being selected to be part of the FIR council for Latin America.
Outside of work, Tatiana enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying a good coffee and Peru's culinary delights, and socialising with friends. She also loves the beach, walking, and exercising at the gym.
If she hadn't pursued her current career, Tatiana would have liked to become a psychologist, driven by her communicative and empathetic nature, and her interest in understanding people's emotions and behaviours.
