Robbie Norridge, our People Development Consultant, has a hugely important role at Gleeds in supporting both our graduates and accredited staff in their development. He’s the first port of call for all things qualification and plays a significant role in supporting our teams to achieve an 85% first-time RICS APC pass rate in the UK.
He’s also largely involved in the Gleeds Graduate Development Programme, which has helped shape some fantastic journeys for our budding graduates.
Robbie was first drawn to Gleeds when he saw the numerous opportunities within the People team, and he has helped the team grow from nine members to over 25 since he joined in 2019. Robbie’s chief motivation is helping the people he works with succeed, something he has certainly seen plenty of during his time at Gleeds. This was underpinned by his winning of the Rising Star award at the People Experience Pioneer Awards ceremony in 2023.
Robbie has always enjoyed learning and development, relishing the opportunity to interact with all areas of the business and truly make a difference to the people he supports. This all started with his degree in Business Management and HR, where he completed a placement year in an HR role that cemented the idea that this would be his career.

Having progressed through three different roles in four years at Gleeds, Robbie really personifies this advice.
Outside of Gleeds, Robbie enjoys an active lifestyle – frequently playing football and tennis, going for walks with his labrador Kipper and going to gigs – the Wombats and the Killers being his personal favourites.
Robbie plays a vital role in the development of Gleeds and the People team certainly wouldn’t be the same without him.
