Phumzile is a cost management professional with over 12 years of international experience delivering projects across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She began her career in South Africa before relocating to the UK and has since built a strong track record across retail, commercial office and refurbishment sectors.

She specialises in occupier-led and retail fit-out projects, supporting clients through complex programmes and enabling informed commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Phumzile currently works on global retail frameworks for leading technology clients, delivering refurbishment and relocation schemes across multiple countries. Known for her collaborative approach, Phumzile focuses on building strong, trusted relationships with clients and project teams. She is committed to understanding her clients’ businesses and priorities, ensuring aligned outcomes and long-term value.

In addition to her project work, Phumzile is actively involved in strengthening community and inclusion within the industry. She founded the Faith at Work network at Gleeds, supporting an environment where people feel valued and able to contribute fully. She also contributes to industry dialogue through chairing panel discussions, moderating events, and supporting thought leadership initiatives, with a particular interest in leadership, workplace culture, diversity and the future of the built environment.
