Since joining Gleeds in 2007, Michael Galling has carved out a significant role within the company. As an Associate Director, he ensures that business is running smoothly and coordinates all training across the German offices, delivering inspiring lectures for newcomers on business operations and legal matters.
Based in Brunswick, Michael manages a dedicated team, overseeing project management, office organisation and main events.
A typical day for Michael starts with being onsite, as he juggles three to four different construction projects simultaneously. His day involves meeting people in the office and managing his team, ensuring that every aspect of the projects is running smoothly. Michael thrives in this fast-paced environment, where he enjoys the variety of project and the opportunity to work with good clients. He finds his work challenging yet fun, appreciating the positive and supportive atmosphere in the office, where laughter is often heard.

Project management is mostly about taking care of things; we are the oil between all mechanical parts of our projects.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys walking with his dog and playing disc golf. If he weren’t in his current line of work, he envisions himself teaching about construction, sharing his knowledge and passion for the industry with others.
