As an Associate Director in Peru, Matthew is fundamental in Gleeds’ efforts to continue implementing comprehensive management plans and processes across the region.
As someone who is driven by social and environmental change, Matthew was naturally drawn to Gleeds’ education programme in Peru. The opportunity to move abroad and further his skills in cost and risk management, PMO and contract management, it turned out to be the just the challenge he was searching for.

His day-to-day responsibilities expand right across the breadth of Peru. This includes equipping projects and programmes with the knowledge and tools for success, coordinating market intelligence and guiding clients towards their end goals.
Matthew’s proudest achievement at Gleeds was overseeing the successful implementation of The New Rules of Measurements (NRM) in his programme, a standardised approach to the measurement and quantification of construction works. His ambition is to leave a lasting legacy that elevates cost management practices in Peru and the wider region. With a strong desire to build strong professional relationships and continuously grow, Matthew resonates strongly with Gleeds' values and strives to embody them throughout his career.
No challenge is too daunting for Matthew, who values growth in all aspects of his life. This extends to his interests outside of work which include staying fit and healthy and broadening his knowledge of countries and cultures through travel.
