As a director within Gleeds’ energy and defence sectors, Matt Shaw provides strategic leadership and subject matter expertise across P3M, PMO, and project controls. He also leads Transform, part of Gleeds’ digital offering which helps clients harness the power of technology and data to improve project delivery, performance, and outcomes.

He thrives on this variety, enjoying the balance between shaping long-term visions and getting into the detail to help clients overcome real-world challenges.

Outside of work, Matt’s life is full of energy thanks to his three young daughters, who keep him busy with their many clubs and activities. When he finds time for himself, he enjoys a round of golf and remains an avid rugby fan. A proud Welshman with a creative streak, he also has a lifelong interest in design and architecture.
