A long-standing passion for developing people motivates Ivan, and he finds fulfilment in helping others exceed their own expectations. His interest in construction began during summer jobs as a labourer, where he observed the pivotal role of quantity surveyors, an experience that inspired his career in cost management.
Gleeds’ independence and focus on core services attracted Ivan to the company. He appreciates its collaborative and supportive culture, alongside contributing to the creation of projects that shape society. Ivan advises new joiners to immerse themselves in Gleeds’ culture, take every opportunity to contribute and leverage the wealth of knowledge and support available from other colleagues. His proudest achievements include witnessing his team’s successes, most notably this year’s 100% RICS APC pass rate, which saw nine team members qualify as chartered surveyors - a true testament to the dedication and hard work shown by those individuals.
