Irene Torá Mouvet

Role

ESG Coordinator Gleeds Europe & ESG Lead in Gleeds Ibérica

Location

Madrid, Spain

As the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Coordinator at Gleeds Europe and the ESG Lead for Gleeds Ibérica, Irene Torá Mouvet plays a pivotal role in coordinating responsible activities, initiatives, and projects across the European region.

As the primary point of contact for pan-European clients on ESG matters, Irene collaborates closely with Gleeds global ESG teams, facilitating communication and knowledge transfer, sharing best practice to create tailored ESG strategies for the European market. Her responsibilities also include understanding the latest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) developments, disseminating knowledge within the industry, and representing Gleeds at various ESG-related events, workshops and forums.

Based in Madrid, Irene enjoys the vibrant atmosphere of the city and often bikes to the office. Her typical workdays are divided between consultancy work for Spain and Portugal and coordinating ESG services and projects for pan-European clients and portfolios. These interactions, as well as site inspections and meetings, allow her to engage with clients and other professionals from different backgrounds, which she finds extremely fulfilling. Irene's proudest achievement at Gleeds is establishing the ESG services in Spain and Portugal, with support from her colleagues in the global business.

I am motivated by the ability and autonomy to learn new topics and develop our services. I’m lucky to work with a great team with colleagues that help to provide excellence in our services.

Irene’s passion for the environment and sustainability stems from a desire to improve corporate practices and building standards, feeling fulfilled by contributing to global initiatives. Before joining Gleeds, she worked with various environmental consultancy firms and had the opportunity to collaborate with Gleeds, which made her transition seamless. She aligns with our core values, our client-oriented approach and the team's welcoming personality.

Outside of work, Irene loves family time with her three children, enjoys the countryside, and is a frequent visitor to El Prado Museum. If she hadn't ventured into her current work, she imagines she would be involved in nature conservation or working as a social worker, driven by her strong sense of social responsibility.
