George Bushati is a Director within Gleeds’ London project management team, where he plays a key role in leading public sector project delivery, managing teams and overseeing operational strategy.

With a background in engineering, having studied in Florence, George brings a wealth of technical expertise and strategic insight to his role. Since joining Gleeds in 2021, he has been instrumental in driving large-scale projects across the UK and Ireland, ensuring excellent execution and client satisfaction.

Day to day, George balances the demands of multiple projects, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of service. His leadership extends beyond project oversight to team management, financial planning and resource allocation, ensuring the London project management team operates efficiently. Additionally, George leads the public sector division, steering critical initiatives that have a lasting impact on local communities.

A strong advocate for Gleeds multi-regional collaboration, George excels at navigating the complexities of both public and private sectors. His ability to bridge these two worlds enables him to deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives while meeting regulatory and budgetary requirements. His passion for the built environment, combined with a problem- solving mindset, makes him a key driver of successful project outcomes.

George was drawn to Gleeds due to its diverse sector, public and private, involvement and international reach. One of his proudest achievements at Gleeds has been leading the Oxlow SEND School project in Dagenham, a transformative project set to open in September 2025. This state-of-the-art facility will provide essential education and support for circa 100 PLMD students, making a meaningful contribution to both the families, and the wider community.

Outside of work, George spends his time with his wife and three young children. His weekends are filled with scheduled activities such as rugby training, squash and music lessons, keeping him happily busy.
