As a Project Director, Fiona Duncan brings her extensive construction and commercial expertise to drive successful delivery of the Peru Reconstruction programme.
Fiona leads on the development and application of the commercial and contractual framework across the programme, advising on contract strategy, drafting and standardisation to ensure consistency, clarity and effective risk allocation. She is a trusted advisor on NEC contract management, supporting robust contract administration, and building long-term capability through structured training programmes. She also provides strategic oversight of commercial and contractual matters across current and upcoming procurement activities, enabling informed decision-making and strong programme governance.
Fiona’s work on impactful projects continues to fuel her passion and drive. Her journey to South America began as a personal adventure but quickly evolved into a professional calling when she discovered Gleeds’ work in the region. The opportunity to contribute directly to local communities, while broadening her expertise in complex infrastructure delivery, inspired her to make Peru her professional home.
Her proudest achievement at Gleeds is seeing the real-world impact of her work through infrastructure that protects lives and livelihoods, including the delivery of critical flood defence programmes.
Outside of work, Fiona embraces the rich cultural life of South America, enjoying its food, staying active through running and hillwalking, practising yoga, and exploring galleries, museums and historic sites.
