As the Head of Cost Management for Gleeds in Portugal, Emanuel Dias plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of top-quality cost services to clients. His primary focus is on growing and developing the cost management services in Portugal.

Emanuel also dedicates time to identifying training, development, and upskilling opportunities across core services while supporting regional business planning and development. A typical day for Emanuel starts with reviewing planning work, including financial analysis and strategic planning. His schedule is packed with meetings, both with clients and internally, as he ensures projects are progressing smoothly and that industry trends are closely followed.

Emanuel is driven by the responsibility of delivering value to clients, understanding that Cost Management is critical to the success of any project.

My biggest motivation comes from Gleeds Cost Management Team achieving the best possible results for our projects and ensuring client satisfaction.

He is also committed to creating an inclusive environment where his team members feel empowered to thrive. What initially attracted Emanuel to Gleeds was its prestige and the opportunity to work on landmark projects with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Outside of work, Emanuel enjoys spending time with his daughter, studying wines, and painting miniatures. If he hadn’t pursued his current career, he imagines he might be involved in a craft-based profession like carpentry or jewellery-making, where he could channel his creativity into crafting something unique and meaningful.
