As Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, with a focus on early careers, Donna plays a pivotal role in the future of Gleeds and its people. Finding motivation in the journeys that take place in the Early Careers department, Donna is first point of call for grads, apprentices, work experience-seekers and people looking to start a career in the built environment.

She’s frequently hosting assessment days, attending careers fairs and building relationships with education centres – efforts that have seen the Early Careers numbers rise year on year since she joined Gleeds.

Donna was first drawn to Gleeds when she found herself seeking a new challenge, and she’s really tested herself in applying her knowledge of early careers to a whole new industry. Her passion for helping young people in their employment journeys meant that she took to the new industry quickly, learning the ins and out of construction and applying them to a new section of candidates she hadn’t dealt with before.

Anyone who has worked with Donna knows she personifies the Gleeds value ‘we combine professionalism with personality’ – she’s a real asset to any office, meeting or project she’s involved in, bringing her trademark charisma everywhere she goes.

Donna’s proudest achievement at Gleeds is the brand overhaul of the Early Careers offering, giving it a colourful makeover that resonates with the Gleeds branding but also sets it apart in the market. She worked tirelessly, producing new early careers content and creating new frameworks for Gleeds to follow when attracting candidates – culminating in the surpassing of early careers targets last year.

Outside of the office, Donna loves getting out of the house and her weekends are often filled with festivals, concerts or travelling with her family.

Donna plays a key role in the talent acquisition team and will continue to do so well into the future, as she hones and improves the already fantastic work that she does.
