Chris Tunnicliffe, Director within Gleeds’ infrastructure team, leads both the PMO service and the Project Controls team across the UK.
His role extends to Head of Aviation within the sector, ensuring high standards in project delivery and client interactions. Chris brings to Gleeds over 20 years of industry experience, specialising in major project and programme delivery. His track record includes successful project management, consulting and supporting clients proactively by listening to their needs, empowering team members to make decisions, rewarding performance, and making informed, risk-based business decisions.
Based in Gleeds’ Liverpool office, Chris's typical day can be varied. Mornings are dedicated to client-focused work, while afternoons are reserved for internal leadership and strategic planning. His responsibilities include team discussions, problem-solving, client engagements, interviews, and encouraging an inspiring work environment. He finds motivation in seeing his team thrive, balancing their professional responsibilities with personal aspirations and taking pride in receiving positive feedback from clients.
