With an impressive track record of delivering projects across the healthcare sector, Andy McNulty’s wealth of experience in the industry has seen him truly make an impact. After initially joining Gleeds in 1993, and then returning in 2014 as a Director, Andy has been based within the health team for almost ten years.
As Head of Healthcare Sector, Andy’s role involves supporting Gleeds teams and clients in the planning and delivery of healthcare projects. This includes framework and client management and identifying and providing sector-specific bid support for opportunities. He also focuses on identifying training, development and upskilling requirements across core services, in addition to supporting regional sector business planning and development.
Having spent much of his career within Gleeds, Andy is a strong advocate for the career opportunities available. He would advise new joiners to take advantage of the opportunities to progress within the business, mapping out their career path and using the mentorship available within the supportive Gleeds environment.
It’s the people that make Gleeds. We have a wealth of technical skill and knowledge, but it’s the personality of the company that resonates – it’s more than just a workplace. It’s a business where you can develop as a person and professionally.
One of Andy’s proudest achievements was the completion of the Northern Centre for Cancer Care in Carlisle during the Covid-19 pandemic, playing an instrumental role in delivery of the programme on time, and within budget. He is motivated by the impact it’s possible to make within the health sector through the creation of new facilities with the technology to transform lives.
