Andrew is one of the team of senior directors responsible for driving the London Project Management business unit forward and continuing its growth trajectory.
After typically starting the day at his desk catching up on tasks, he says: “I’m out and about meeting clients, attending project meetings, sniffing out the next opportunity, then trying to get back to the office for the end of the day.” While he’s worked across many sectors, regions and countries throughout his career, Andrew has always specialised in large commercial developments for investor and developer clients. His greatest motivation is working with interesting people from diverse backgrounds, and getting them all to come together to deliver great projects.
He was particularly attracted to Gleeds by the company’s commercial independence. “Our clients want to work with people – not corporate juggernauts that don’t treat them as important,” he explains. Of our three core values, ‘professionalism with personality’ is the one that chimes the most with Andrew:

In his free time, Andrew loves spending time on anything involving an engine and getting out to the coast or the countryside. If he hadn’t opted for a career in the construction sector, he expects he would have elected to become a farmer, or – if his dad had let him – a professional windsurfer!
