Alfie is a project director in our UK infrastructure team, specialising in programme advisory, programme and project management. He joined Gleeds to help shape and grow the programme advisory service line, while supporting clients to deliver some of their most complex programmes both nationally and internationally.
As the regional lead for infrastructure in the South East, Alfie also works closely with colleagues to build capability and help clients set up and successfully deliver their major programmes with confidence.
A typical day for Alfie involves a mixture of activities. He spends time focusing on looking for new opportunities, whether through bidding or meeting clients. When he is working on active commissions, he provides structure and guidance to leadership teams, helping them navigate complexity and deliver outcomes effectively.

Alfie has always been drawn to the built environment, fascinated by how infrastructure projects bring together people, places and ideas. He is inspired by the chance to shape projects that improve how communities live and connect, combining technical detail with strategic thinking for a truly impactful result. Outside of work, Alfie enjoys family life, golf and travel. He is on a long-standing quest to become a scratch golfer and spends much of his free time with his wife and son, exploring new places and enjoying good food.
