An appreciation for beautiful interior spaces – and the detail that goes into creating them – was the reason Adeline opted for a career in construction.
Her role at Gleeds requires her to be immersed in the detail of clients’ projects, covering cost management, quantity surveying, and commercial management.
Working in this sector allows me to be part of the journey from concept to completion, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see interiors come to life just as envisioned.
Adeline’s day typically starts with reviewing project cost updates, followed by meetings with clients and consultants to discuss procurement, contract issues, or value engineering opportunities. “I could be preparing tender documents, negotiating with contractors, or supporting our team on multiple live projects,” she explains.
Delivering exceptional results and creating a positive impact are Adeline’s greatest inspirations. Her proudest achievement is her ability to provide reliable commercial advice:

When not at work, Adeline likes to spend time with her two young kids – exploring, being creative, and enjoying fun activities. If she hadn’t pursued a career in commercial management, she thinks she would have become a skincare consultant: “I’ve always been passionate about wellness, and I would love helping people to feel confident and take care of themselves.”
