As Gleeds’ Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, Salar Farzad oversees Gleeds financial strategy, ensures fiscal responsibility, and provides oversight for various administrative functions. 

He sits on both the Group and Management Boards, ensuring the business is focused on the 'how' of making things happen, empowering and enabling our 3,000+ people around the world to drive the group towards achievement of our strategic goals in the most effective manner. 

A typical day in Salar's world is a blend of variety and consistency. It involves a deep dive into the company's financial trajectory, exploring avenues for enhancing working capital, and scaling up margins. This is not just a job for him; it's a quest to elevate effectiveness, a pursuit that changes every day yet remains steadfast in its goal. 

Salar has a passion for improvement - be it in people, teams, or the organisation at large. He finds satisfaction in witnessing the positive evolution of individuals and the collective progress they achieve. 

My career has always revolved around sectors where people are the core asset, I believe in the power of human potential. Salar's pride in his achievements at Gleeds is evident. He has played a pivotal role in assembling board structures, increased banking facilities significantly, and acts as a catalyst for positive change. 

Outside the office, his life is equally vibrant, albeit changed since the arrival of his triplets. Formerly an equestrian enthusiast, he now enjoys waterskiing adventures with his children, offering 'helpful' advice from the boat.
