Porsche Dealership Mannheim

Driving construction of Porsche Mannheim.

Porsche’s Mannheim dealership in Germany was the brainchild of Roger Penske, the American motorsport entrepreneur. Porsche turned to Gleeds to steer an international team and manage the costs associated with delivering the high standards required.

Perfection through teamwork

We used our experience to manage a team that included contractors from around the world, to deliver the level of perfectionism required by the high-performance sports car manufacturer.

The future needs space to unfold

The new dealership required 5,792 m² of new workshop and showroom space, plus 18,000 m² of landscaped area.

Electronically-controlled storage, car lifts and glass staircases were just some of the unique features of this unusual build. Others included:

  • A 12m high aluminium façade reflecting Porsche’s corporate identity
  • A curved 7m inner hall
  • High-quality technical workshop fit out, including four direct diagnostic bases
