1. How do I apply?
You can apply online, via email or by post. Please include a covering letter and a copy of your CV. Refer to the individual sections for relevant contact details.
2. When should I apply?
We accept applicants at any time during the academic year, including gap years.
3. What should I include in my letter?
You should include:
• Discipline you prefer (quantity surveyor, project manager, building surveyor, tax surveyor, etc)
• Preferred location
• Availability to start
• A synopsis detailing where you heard about Gleeds, why you want to join us and any relevant work experience you have undertaken
• Any other relevant skills
4. When does the graduate recruitment programme begin?
It begins in late September every year, with a technical induction week. Graduates, non-cognate graduates and those on part-time degrees are included on this skills development week. It is best to have joined us by that time each year.
5. Can I join Gleeds straight from school with A-levels or European or international equivalents?
Yes you can. Gleeds sponsors many people on part-time degrees while they are working with us. Read more about our opportunities for people in higher education.
6. Do you offer work permits?
We do consider applications from graduates who require or are eligible for work permits, as long as there are sufficient vacancies to justify this.
