Legislative Compliance

Access Consultancy
Our access surveyors are accredited by the National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC). We offer a full range of services to help our clients understand their obligations under the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

Expert witness/disputes
We have several senior highly-qualified surveyors who specialise in different areas of the construction field. Each is experienced in providing specific expert witness advice in and out of court when disputes occur and arbitration or litigation become the only viable means of settlement.

Fire risk assessments
We carry out fire risk assessments of both individual buildings or entire property portfolios. We identify fire hazards and any significant risk to building occupants. We evaluate these risks and record the findings and actions to be taken. We also provide budget costs and a prioritised implementation plan for recommended improvement works to meet current and new standards.

Energy
European law requires that all properties subject to sale or lease are provided with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Public access buildings also require Display Energy Certificates (DEC) on an annual basis.

We provide independent advice on energy performance, including a realistic analysis of energy use and options to reduce this, supported by our specialist energy procurement and renewable energy knowledge.
