The major decisions that affect a project’s success are made during its early stages, when the opportunity for change is greatest.

Detailed cost plans are issued when each key stage is completed and monitored as the project progresses. The aim is to set tough but achievable targets.

The cost plan continually evolves and is a fundamental control document for the whole project, available to all participants.

Gleeds’ strategy is to plan and control costs and not to provide retrospective cost reporting. All available options are considered, using value-engineering techniques to identify the best solution and provide value for money.

We also offer a live cost planning system, which can evolve to incorporate best practice. The tool was designed specifically for Gleeds based on our experience of clients’ needs.
