Shutdowns and Turnarounds are very complex, high value projects that need very tight project, cost, contract and commercial management.

Gleeds has developed their expertise in these kind of projects through applying a specific procurement route based on the efficient use of resources, time and money. We manage supplier/contractor relationship to enable project fast tracking; adding value for clients through costs and commercial/contract management, as well as robust and independent input on schedules.

Initially devised for heavy engineering projects, our Commercial Management service has been tailored for success in:

In managing Shutdowns and Turnarounds Gleeds uses PACE, our own Planning and Cost Estimating software. From the same data feed, PACE provides detailed planning and cost information. Consequently, the tool is able to work out the scoping of discreet work packages for a shutdown, overhaul event or any other maintenance type activity.
